en THE RIGHT LOCATION THE RIGHT LOCATION The BONECO appliance releases more than half a liter of water into the air per hour. This makes it important to set up the appliance in the right location. Do not place the BONECO appliance directly on the floor, since the moisture from the mist can damage floor surfaces such as parquet or delicate carpeting. Make sure that the appliance stands about one foot (30 centimeters) away from the closest wall.

TIMER FUNCTIONS The timer function lets you determine how long the BONECO appliance should run before it switches off automatically (OFF timer). Alternatively, you can specify a time for when the appliance should switch on automatically (ON timer). en CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE CARE INSTRUCTIONS With time and use, the performance of the A250 decreases and scale builds up on the inner parts of the BONECO appliance. Stagnant water can also impair cleanliness and lead to unpleasant odors. This means regular maintenance and cleaning is necessary to ensure clean and unimpaired operation. Recommended cleaning and maintenance intervals vary depending on air and water quality, and operating time. Use a soft, damp cloth to clean the exterior.
CLEANING AND DESCALING DESCALING If stubborn limescale deposits form at the bottom of the BONECO appliance, the appliance must also be descaled in addition to the cleaning. For this process, use the provided “EZCal” descaling agent. You can get replacement parts at your BONECO specialist dealer or at the online store under www.shop. boneco.us en Tip the long side of the BONECO appliance towards the sink (with the viewing window facing down).
en REMOVING MINERAL DEPOSITS Mineral deposits on the membrane can be removed using the yellow cleaning brush attached to the cover of the BONECO appliance. Never clean the membrane using sharp objects or aggressive cleaning agents; doing so can damage the BONECO appliance and voids the warranty! CLEARING THE CLEANING MESSAGE After completion of cleaning, delete the message by pressing the button and holding it for 2 seconds.
ON THE A250 PREPARING THE A250 Please observe the accompanying manual for starting up the A250. ON WATER HARDNESS The BONECO U250 is supplied with the A250. The granulate contained in it filters the lime out of the tap water so that it is not released into the room air. 50 es LIMPIEZA Y MANTENIMIENTO INDICACIONES DE MANTENIMIENTO Cuanto mayor sea el tiempo de funcionamiento, menor será el rendimiento del A250 y mayor la acumulación de cal en los componentes internos del aparato BONECO. Asimismo, el agua estancada puede perjudicar las condiciones higiénicas y provocar olores desagradables. Por este motivo, un mantenimiento y una limpieza regulares son condiciones indispensables para que el aparato funcione correctamente y de forma higiénica.
51 LIMPIEZA Y DESCALCIFICACIÓN DESCALCIFICACIÓN Si en el fondo del aparato BONECO se forman depósitos persistentes de cal, deberá descalcificar el aparato, además de limpiarlo. Para este proceso, utilice el producto de descalcificación “EZCal” suministrado. Puede obtener piezas de repuesto en su distribuidor especializado BONECO o en la tienda en línea en www.shop.boneco.us es Incline la parte larga del aparato BONECO hacia el fregadero (con la ventana de visión hacia abajo).
52 es LIMPIEZA Y DESCALCIFICACIÓN ELIMINACIÓN DE DEPÓSITOS MINERALES Los depósitos minerales de la membrana se pueden eliminar con el cepillo limpiador amarillo enganchado en la tapa del aparato BONECO. En ningún caso utilice objetos afilados o productos abrasivos para limpiar la membrana, ya que esto podría dañar el aparato BONECO y ocasionar la anulación de la garantía. ELIMINACIÓN DE LA ADVERTENCIA DE LIMPIEZA Una vez concluida la limpieza, elimine el aviso pulsando durante 2 s la tecla .
53 ACERCA DEL A250 PREPARACIÓN DEL A250 Para la puesta en marcha del A250 tenga en cuenta las instrucciones adjuntas. ACERCA DE LA DUREZA DEL AGUA El BONECO U250 se suministra con el A250. El granulado disponible filtra la cal presente en el agua del grifo para evitar que esta se emita al aire del entorno. El agua del grifo muy dura acelera la saturación del granulado, de manera que será necesario sustituir antes el A250. Deseche el A250 saturado con la basura doméstica.
