Depending on the required connection cross-section, 
you can vary the height at which the sealing tape is 
attached to the plinth fan inlet nozzle.
INFO  If another universal fan module is to be used, it 
must also be prepared with sealing tape on the 
inlet nozzles as described here.

 Push the seal onto the outlet nozzles of the plinth fan. 
This means stretching the seal slightly.

[2]  Cooktop extractor
 Rotate the cooktop extractor [2] and remove the cover 
frame [1].
 Rotate the cover frame [1] by 180°.
 Replace the cover frame [1] back on the cooktop 
extractor [2].
 Make sure that the holding clamps slot into place.
6.8  Installing the duct system
6.8.1  Preparing for installation
INFO  The floor unit must not be supported on the plinth 
fan housing.
INFO  For correct installation, the slide-in units of the 
base cabinet must be shortened depending on the 
installation situation.
INFO  When fitting the seals, make sure it fits and forms 
an air-tight seal with the connection duct piece 
when compressed.
 Adjust the ducting parts to the height of the worktop.
 Saw out the necessary cut-outs for the ducting in the 
rear panel of the floor unit.
Preparing for installation of cooktop extractor 
PKA
 Depending on the installation situation, adjust the 
levelling feet on the floor unit as necessary. 
 Prepare the plinth fan by attaching the sealing tape 
depending on the installation situation.
 Secure the sealing tape to the inlet nozzle.
