Use only lock nut and flange with equal diameters. Do not use water or other ! WARNING cooling fluid with this tool for cutting. SPINDLE When using an abrasive cut- ! WARNING off wheel, be sure to use only the special wheel guard designed for use with cut-off wheels. Never use cut-off wheel for side grinding.
BM 1619P01046 5-05 5/10/05 10:39 PM Page 9 Operating Instructions SLIDE ON-OFF SWITCH WITH LOCK The tool is switched “ON” by the switch button located at the side of the motor housing. The switch can be locked in the “ON” position, a convenience for long grinding operations. TO TURN THE TOOL “ON” without locking it, slide the switch button forward by applying pressure ONLY at the REAR portion of the button. When pressure is released the switch button will snap to “OFF” position.
BM 1619P01046 5-05 5/10/05 10:39 PM Page 10 SANDING TIPS For best results, tilt the Disc Sander at a 10° to 15° angle while sanding so that only about 1" of the surface around the edge of the disc contacts the work. If the disc (accessory) is held ! WARNING flat or the back edge of the disc comes in contact with the work, a violent thrust to the side may result. If sander is tilted too much, sanding action will be too great and a rough cut surface or gouging and snagging will result.

N'enroulez pas le cordon autour de votre bras ou de votre poignet. Si vous perdez contrôle et que le cordon s'enroule autour de votre bras ou de votre poignet, il peut vous emprisonner et vous blesser. Évitez de faire rebondir et de heurter la meule, surtout en travaillant des coins, des arêtes vives, etc. Ceci peut causer une perte de contrôle et un rebond.

L'interrupteur peut être bloqué en position de marche, fonction commode pour les longues opérations de rectification. Pour mettre l’outil en marche sans le verrouiller, glissez l’interrupteur vers l’avant en appuyant SEULEMENT sur la partie ARRIÈRE du bouton.

Las muelas diseñadas para lijadoras/amoladoras angulares grandes no son adecuadas para la alta velocidad de una lijadora/amoladora angular pequeña. Estas muelas pueden saltar en pedazos fácilmente y los fragmentos pueden golpearle a usted o golpear a las personas que estén presentes.

El interruptor se puede fijar en la posición "ON" (encendido), lo cual resulta práctico al realizar operaciones prolongadas de amolado.
BM 1619P01046 5-05 5/10/05 10:39 PM Page 30 CONSEJOS PARA LIJAR Para mejores resultados, incline la lijadora de disco hasta un ángulo de 10˚ a 15° mientras lija para que aproximadamente sólo 1 pulgada de la superficie alrededor del borde del disco esté en contacto con la superficie de trabajo. Guíe la lijadora de disco con pasadas transversales. Tenga cuidado de no mantener la lijadora en el mismo sitio demasiado tiempo. No utilice un movimiento circular, ya que esto causa marcas de remolino.
