Tested using a flow rate of 0.55 gpm (2.0 L/min), pH of 7.5 ± 0.5, pressure of 60 psig, and temperature of 68 ± 5 °F.
NOTE : The testing was performed under standard laboratory conditions, actual performance may vary.
Operation conditions
Warning: Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality without adequate disinfection
before or after the system. Systems certified for cyst reduction may be used on disinfected water that may contain
filterable cyst.
Note:
■ Adsorption media will not be regenerated and used.
■ Systems must be installed and operated in accordance with manufacturer’s recommended procedures and
guidelines. The system and installation shall comply with applicable state and local regulations. Install on cold water
line only.
■ Flush 3 gallons through filter before use (flush approximately 5 minutes).
■ To maintain proper filtration, replace the filter at least every 6 months.
