Before disposing of your old appliance:
■ Remove the doors and drawer.
■ Leave shelves and bins in the appliance to

Do not damage the tubes of the refrigeration 
circuit and insulation.

Installing the appliance
Installation location
Follow these instructions when installing your 
appliance.
9 WARNING
RISK OF EXPLOSION! 
If the appliance is installed in a space that is 
too small, a leak in the refrigeration circuit may 
result in a flammable mixture of gas and air.
Only install the appliance in a space with a 
volume of at least 36 ft³(1 m³) per 0.3 oz (8 g) 
of refrigerant. The amount of refrigerant is 
indicated on the rating plate.

Depending on the model, the weight of the 
appliance factory-made may be up to 320 lb 
(145 kg). The subfloor must be sufficiently stable to 
bear the weight of the appliance.
