Installation Instructions

– Using appropriate hardware, attach the battery box to the mounting surface.
– When mounting the battery box to wooden studs, use lag bolts.
– When mounting the battery box to cement, use concrete anchors.
– After the box is fastened at the top, partially drill the two holes at the bottom of the
battery box and attach the box to the mounting surface using the appropriate hardware.
– Attach the door by sliding it down over the hinges.
– Remove the lockset knockout from the front door and attach the cabinet lock.
Mounting the Battery Shelf
– Mount the battery shelf to the metal stand-offs. Mounting the shelf at this height clears
the lock assembly located on the door.
– Partially attach the four supplied screws in the battery shelf mounting holes.
– After all four screws are partly inserted, hang the shelf by the mounting holes on the
metal screws.
– Tighten the metal screws to secure the shelf to the battery box.
