- to reduce the risk of a range top grease fire:
- a. Never leave surface units unattended at high settings. Boilovers cause smoking and greasy spillovers that may ignite. Heat oils slowly on low or medium settings.
- b. Always turn hood ON when cooking at high heat.
- c. Clean ventilating fans frequently. Grease should not be allowed to accumulate on fan or filter.

- 1. Drill holes according to the drill template.
- 2. Fasten the ceiling bracket to the ceiling.
- 3. Fasten the 4 lower vertical brackets to the extractor hood with 16 screws.
- 4. Fasten the lower horizontal bracket with 8 screws.
- 5. Fasten the 4 upper vertical brackets with 16 screws, while maintaining the noted distance to the cooktop, see Chapter Calculating the installation height.
- 1. Drill holes according to the drill template.

- Connecting the air extractor (only for ducted operation)
- Mounting the recirculation model (only for circulating-air mode)
- 1. Use 2 screws to screw the housing for the recirculation module to the ceiling bracket.
- 2. Measure the distance (x) between the lower edge of the housing for the recirculation module and the lower edge of the back-pressure flap.
- 3. Shorten the exhaust air pipe to the length measured.
- 4. Push the exhaust air pipe onto the bottom of the recirculation module.
- 5. Position the recirculation module with exhaust air pipe over the air extraction duct of the extractor hood.
- 6. Use aluminum tape (NOT insulating tape) to seal the fastening of the exhaust air pipe on the recirculation module and on the air extraction duct of the extractor hood.
- 1. Use 2 screws to screw the housing for the recirculation module to the ceiling bracket.

- Attaching flue duct
- 1. Remove the protective foil from the flue ducts.
- 2. Remove the protective foil from the extractor hood.
- 3. Fasten the upper flue duct using 6 screws.
- 4. Position the lower flue duct on the extractor hood using 4 plastic brackets. Use a plastic bracket for each corner of the flue duct.
- 5. Fasten the lower part of the flue duct using 4 screws.
- 6. Install metal grease filter.
- 1. Remove the protective foil from the flue ducts.

- Monter le support de plafond
- 1. Percez les trous conformément au gabarit de perçage.
- 2. Fixez la fixation du plafond au plafond à l'aide de 4 vis.
- 3. Fixez 4 supports verticaux inférieurs à l'aide de 16 vis sur la hotte aspirante.
- 4. Fixez le support horizontal inférieur à l'aide de 8 vis.
- 5. Fixez 4 supports verticaux supérieurs à l'aide de 16 vis et établissez la distance notée jusqu'au plan de cuisson, voir le chapitre Calculer la hauteur d'installation.
- 1. Percez les trous conformément au gabarit de perçage.
- Monter la hotte aspirante au plafond
- Montage du volet anti-refoulement
- Effectuer le raccordement de l'évacuation de l'air (uniquement en cas de mode évacuation de l'air)
- Montage du module de recirculation (uniquement en cas de mode recirculation)
- 1. Vissez le boîtier du module de recirculation sur la fixation de plafond à l'aide de 2 vis.
- 2. Mesurez la distance (x) entre le bord inférieur du boîtier pour le module de recirculation et le bord inférieur du volet antirefoulement.
- 3. Raccourcissez le tuyau d'évacuation à la longueur mesurée.
- 4. Poussez le tuyau d'évacuation sur la face inférieure du module de recirculation.
- 5. Positionnez le module de recirculation avec le tuyau d'évacuation sur le canal d'évacuation.
- 6. Avec du papier aluminium (n'utiliser AUCUNE ruban adhésif), scellez le dispositif de fixation du tube d'évacuation sur le module de recyclage et sur le canal d'évacuation d'air de la hotte aspirante.
- 1. Vissez le boîtier du module de recirculation sur la fixation de plafond à l'aide de 2 vis.
- Brancher l'alimentation électrique
- Monter le capot de cheminée
- 1. Retirez les pellicules protectrices recouvrant les capots de cheminée.
- 2. Retirez les films protecteurs recouvrant la hotte.
- 3. Fixez la partie supérieure du capot de cheminée à l'aide de 6 vis.
- 4. Positionnez le capot de cheminée inférieur à l'aide de 4 supports en plastique sur la hotte aspirante. Utilisez un support en plastique pour chaque coin du capot de cheminée.
- 5. Fixez la partie inférieure du capot de cheminée à l'aide de 4 vis.
- 6. Mettez en place le filtre à graisse métallique.
- 1. Retirez les pellicules protectrices recouvrant les capots de cheminée.

- a. Nunca deje las unidades de la superficie sin vigilancia en valores altos. Los derrames por hervor producen humos y salpicaduras grasosas que pueden prenderse fuego. Caliente los aceites despacio a temperaturas bajas o medianas.
- b. Siempre encienda la campana al cocinar a una temperatura alta.
- c. Limpie los ventiladores extractores con frecuencia. No se debe permitir la acumulación de la grasa en el ventilador ni en el filtro.
- d. Use el tamaño de cacerola adecuado. Siempre use utensilios de cocina apropiados para el tamaño del elemento de la superficie.

- Montar el soporte del techo
- 1. Taladrar los agujeros conforme a la plantilla de perforación.
- 2. Fijar en el techo el soporte de techo con 4 tornillos.
- 3. Fijar 4 soportes verticales inferiores con 16 tornillos en la campana extractora.
- 4. Fijar el soporte horizontal inferior con 8 tornillos.
- 5. Fijar 4 soportes verticales superiores con 16 tornillos y estabelcer además la distancia a la placa de cocción, ver el capítulo Cálculo de altura de instalación.
- 1. Taladrar los agujeros conforme a la plantilla de perforación.
- Montar la campana extractora en el techo.
- Montaje de la válvula de retención
- Realización de la conexión de salida de aire al exterior (solo con funcionamiento en salida de aire al exterior)
- Montaje del módulo de recirculación (solo con funcionamiento en recirculación)
- 1. Atornillar la carcasa del módulo de recirculación de aire con 2 tornillos en el soporte del techo.
- 2. Medir la distancia (x) entre el borde inferior de la carcasa del módulo de recirculación de aire y el borde inferior de la válvula de retención.
- 3. Acortar el tubo de evacuación a la longitud medida.
- 4. Deslizar el tubo de evacuación por la parte inferior del módulo de recirculación de aire.
- 5. Colocar el módulo de recirculación de aire con el tubo de evacuación por encima del conducto de evacuación de la campana extractora.
- 6. Sellar con cinta de aluminio (no utilizar cinta aislante) la fijación del tubo de evacuación en el módulo de recirculación de aire y en el conducto de evacuación de la campana extractora.
- 1. Atornillar la carcasa del módulo de recirculación de aire con 2 tornillos en el soporte del techo.
- Conexión de la alimentación eléctrica
- Montaje del revestimiento de la chimenea
- 1. Retirar las láminas protectoras ubicadas en ambos revestimientos de la chimenea.
- 2. Retirar las láminas protectoras de la campana extractora.
- 3. Fijar la parte superior del revestimiento de la chimenea con 6 tornillos.
- 4. Colocar el revestimiento inferior de la chimenea sobre la campana extractora con ayuda de 4 soportes de plástico. Utilizar un soporte de plástico para cada esquina del revestimiento de la chimenea.
- 5. Fijar la parte inferior del revestimiento de la chimenea con 4 tornillos.
- 6. Montar el filtro metálico antigrasa.
- 1. Retirar las láminas protectoras ubicadas en ambos revestimientos de la chimenea.

Connecting the air extractor (only for
ducted operation)
Note: If an aluminum pipe is used, smooth the
connection area beforehand.
1.
Attach exhaust air pipe and seal.
2.
Check whether the back-pressure flap works.
Mounting the recirculation model (only for
circulating-air mode)
1.
Use 2 screws to screw the housing for the
recirculation module to the ceiling bracket.
2.
Measure the distance (x) between the lower edge of
the housing for the recirculation module and the lower
edge of the back-pressure flap.
3.
Shorten the exhaust air pipe to the length measured.
4.
Push the exhaust air pipe onto the bottom of the
recirculation module.
5.
Position the recirculation module with exhaust air pipe
over the air extraction duct of the extractor hood.
6.
Use aluminum tape (NOT insulating tape) to seal the
fastening of the exhaust air pipe on the recirculation
module and on the air extraction duct of the extractor
hood.

9 WARNING
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK
Before wiring the appliance, interrupt the main
electrical circuit at the electrical control cabinet. A
circuit with 120 VAC, 15 or 20 Ampere is required.
Grounding notes: this appliance is equipped with a
distributor box with 3 cables. Use the green-yellow
cable for grounding the appliance. Connect the
green-yellow cable to the grounding cable on the
house connection to prevent electric sthock. Do not
under any circumstances damage or remove the
green-yellow cable. Non-adherence can cause
deadly injuries or electric shock.
1.
Remove the left cable passage and the cover of the
motor controller. Fasten the connecting piece for the
installation pipe (listed in cULUS) to the cable
passage.
2.
Connect 1/2" (12.7 mm) installation pipe to motor
controller.
