Before you begin
2.1 Tools and parts needed
¡ Cross head screwdriver
¡ Slotted screwdriver 1/8" (3,5mm)
¡ Adjustable wrench
¡ Tongue and groove pliers
¡ Socket or flat wrench 3/8” (10mm) or tongs
¡ Socket or flat wrench 7/8” (22 mm) or tongs
¡ Drill with 5/16" (8mm) bit
¡ Pencil
¡ Measuring tape
Only needed for appliances without power cord:
¡ Tube hexagonal wrench with nut head 3/8” (10mm)

2.4 Removing packaging
See the diagram on the packaging.
1. If straps are present, cut the straps.
2. Cut the plastic down the back of unit making sure not to
cut the unit.
3. Remove the plastic film.
4. Lift the cardboard carton from the top of the range and
dispose of it.
5. Remove the corner posts, making sure that any other
packaging materials running between the corner posts
are also removed.
6. Remove all internal packaging and tape.
7. The rear vent trim is nested in the styrofoam packaging
for shipping purposes. Do not throw it away.
