The tool can be turned "ON" or "OFF" by squeezing or releasing the trigger. The speed can be adjusted from the minimum to maximum nameplate RPM by the pressure you apply to the trigger. Next, with the proper impact socket securely mounted to the wrench, slide the impact socket on to the nut or bolt head . Hold the tool securely with both hands and squeeze the trigger switch.
