Safety systems
Start lock-out
The appliance cannot be switched on until
the blender has been turned firmly into
place.
Automatic disconnection
The appliance switches off automatically
if the attachment accidentally
becomes detached during operation.
If a safety system is activated, see
“Troubleshooting”.

Preparation
■ Before operating the appliance
and accessories for the first time,
clean thoroughly; see “Cleaning and
servicing”.
■ Place motor block on a smooth, level
and clean work surface.
■ Unwind the cable to the required length.
Blender attachment
The blender is suitable for
– blending and frothing liquids,
– cutting and chopping raw fruit,
vegetables nuts and chocolate,
– puréeing soups, cooked fruit and
vegetables,
– preparing mayonnaise and sauces.
