● If an enabling circuit is interrupted after activation (be releasing the ena‐
bling switch or through a failure), the output relays K2 and K3 switch back
to neutral position. The operator controlled contacts between the connec‐
tion terminal 13-14 and 23-24 will open. The output relays will only respond
if both enabling circuits are opened and simultaneously closed again.
This procedure means that the requirement for a single failure not to lead to
loss of the safety function is complied with. An individual failure is detected after
the next cycle at the latest.
7.3.6 X3: Ethernet Interface
The
embedded terminal can be connected with an Ethernet network via an
Ethernet interface.

7.4 Personality Function
In the majority of cases, the system features a continuous Ethernet network.
However, M-Keys, STOP push buttons or enabling devices are permanently
assigned to one control. The STOP push button and the enabling device are
permanently wired to the connection module VAC 30.2. The network data of
the IndraControl VCH 08.1 and the IP address of the control are stored in the
connection module VAC 30.2 by means a storage function.
In this way different sections of a system can be visualized with one IndraCon‐
trol VCH 08.1 via several IndraControl VAC 30.2 connection modules. With
each change of the plugin location the IndraControl VCH 08.1 gets e.g. a new
target IP address or UDP address.
