Technical data

Control IP:
The
IP address of the controller with which the visualization screen is to
be connected.
Upload from data source:
Select this function if the visualization screen is to be loaded from the
controller to the terminal and executed there.
If "Upload from data dource" has been selected, it is not the locally saved
visualization software that is started, but the application is loaded an star‐
ted from the controller to be visualized. If the loading process fails, an error
message is generated and the locally stored application is started.
The UDP telegrams are not transmitted to the control.
Control IP:
IP address of the control to which the UDP telegrams are to be sent.
The following data is sent to the control (control IP) via UDP telegram:
Keyboard codes for IndraControl VCH 08.1
Data concerning the additional elements, such as hand wheel, over‐
ride, key switches.
After editing the values and confirming using the "ENTER" key, the data is re‐
written to the connection module or to the local file and the IndraControl
VCH 08.1 is restarted, which causes the network driver to be initialized with
modified data.
9.2.7 Basic Settings
All the basic settings of the IndraControl VCH 08.1 are carried out via "Rexroth
settings". In the event of an operating system update, Rexroth settings is started
automatically.
The Rexroth settings of the IndraControl VCH 08.1are read from the IndraCon‐
trol VAC 30.2 connection module, for this see chapter 7.4 "Personality Func‐
tion" on page 51.
On initial start-up of the IndraControl VAC 30.2 all values are set to
standard values (Obtain an IP-address via DHCP, disable UDP).
9.3 Evaluating the Commands of the Operating Elements
9.3.1 General Information
A
variety of operating actions can be triggered by the keys on the front panel.
In addition to the block with the navigation keys that provides conventional
functions of the cursor, enter and escape keys, function keys for the execution
of special tasks are fitted below the display. Depending on the design – in ad‐
dition to the keys – further operating elements such as override or hand wheel
can be provided on the front panel.
9.3.2 Evaluation of the Operating Status in the Control
The operating states of the F keys, the enabling device, and the additional op‐
erating elements are transmitted directly to the controller by means of a real
time protocol via Ethernet communication. In the controller, you have the pos‐
sibility to evaluate the status of the operating elements by means of a function
block. The bit assignment within the function block to the operating elements is
specified and cannot be modified.
The keys of the navigation key block are not transmitted into the controller.
