9.6.2 Output Shaft with Key
The optional fitting spring according to DIN 6885, Sheet 1, version 08-1968,
permits keyed transmission of torques with constant direction, with low require-

The machine elements to be driven must additionally be secured in the axial
direction via the centering hole on the end face.
CAUTION
Shaft damage! In case of intense reversing operation, the seat of the
fitting spring may deflect. Increasing deformations in this area can then
lead to breakage of the shaft!
⇒ Preferably, drive output shafts should be used.
IndraDyn S motors are balanced with the complete key. Hence, the machine
element to be driven must be balanced without a fitting spring.
Modifications to the keys may be made only by the user himself and on
his own responsibility. Bosch Rexroth does not provide any warranty for modi-
fied fitting springs or motor shafts.
9.6.3 Output Shaft with Shaft Sealing Ring
IndraDyn S motors are designed with radial shaft sealing rings according to
DIN 3760 – design A.
