The 42RTH is a 42-inch, high-resolution color monitor that
is ideal for use with both digital video recorders (DVR)
and PC applications. The monitor features a color liquid
crystal display (LCD) flat screen panel with horizontal and
vertical viewing angles of 178°, which provides
comfortable, clear viewing whether you place it on a
desktop or mount it to a wall. Additionally, it has been
designed with a unique automatic switching capability to
show the video with the highest priority.
Functions
Excellent image quality
The 42RTH monitor automatically adapts to the input
resolution of the incoming video signal (up to 1920 x 1080
pixels). The monitor’s analog RGB input easily
accommodates the widespread use of PCs in today’s
security surveillance systems. Its high contrast ratio
(800:1) and high brightness rating (500 cd/m
2
) offer
excellent color accuracy and imaging for easier viewing
and interpretation of images. The panel refreshes every
eight milliseconds, so you get crisp, clear images with less
smearing – and less image “ghosting” in fast-motion
video. Additionally, it has been designed for security
applications and improves the functioning of any security
equipment by using alarms to switch and display priority
video.
