These are the same types of
grates found in professional
kitchens, letting you slide and move
pots off of an active burner or
rearrange them without fear of tipping
or spilling. They also give the cooktop
a high-grade, quality appearance that

PowerSim® burner
This feature, available on our
largest burner, uses a diffuser
cap to output a large Áame of up to
18,000 BTU for quick heating, and can
gently simmer like a small burner.

OptiSim
OptiSim® burner
This Bosch burner heats at a
low BTU to delicately simmer
even the most sensitive sauces or melt
chocolate by evenly spreading the
Áame across the bottom of the pot
to help prevent scorching.

When this function is selected, it

brings the heat to a perfect level to
keep meals warm, or to simmer soups.
PowerStart®
This feature temporarily increases
and holds the temperature at the
most powerful setting. Then it gradually
declines to your preset level. This
reduces cooking time and offers the
convenience of one-button operation.
