The CONNECT radio universal remote control (called remote
control in the following) is a radio and infrared remote control. You
can control the following devices remotely:
– Merten devices from the CONNECT radio system such as radio
sensor surface, radio plug adapters, etc.
– Merten devices with an IR receiver, such as TELE sensor
surface, blind push-buttons with IR receiver, etc.
– Up to five different IR AV devices such as TV, DVD, VCR, SAT,
tuners, etc.
The figure on page 1 provides you with an overview of the buttons
and display symbols.

! Display. Shows the current remote control status and the current
menu level.
Lights up when the remote control is transmitting a signal.
; For operating the receiver/group selected with the numeric keys
(switch on/off, brighter/darker, move up/down: depending on the
device)
% OK . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Confirms the selection (in configuration mode only)
) Numeric keys . . . . . . For selecting the devices.
= SCENE 1, 2, 3 . . . . . . For selecting the scenes.
* Press for a short time (< 3 seconds ): for operation of the devices in
the CONNECT radio system or the Merten devices with IR receivers
/ changing the application area (toggling the key assignment).
Press for a long time (> 3 seconds ): switches the remote control
over to the configuration mode for Merten devices
