Configuring a Merten CONNECT radio system

Configuration using the remote control:
A Merten CONNECT radio system is configured in the remote
control's “configuration mode”. Select one of the listed types of
configuration, depending on which functions and devices in your
radio system that you want to configure.
EASY Connect
For creating connections between radio receivers and the remote
control.
In up to 4 memory areas, you can link up to 12 radio receivers to
each numeric key and can configure a scene for each of the three
scene keys.
• Configuring memory areas
• Naming memory areas
• Deleting memory areas
• Linking radio receivers to a numeric key
• Naming numeric keys
• Deleting the assignment of numeric keys
• Setting up scenes
EASY Link
For creating connections between radio receivers and radio push-
buttons (not with the buttons of the remote control).
• Linking radio receivers to radio push-buttons
• Linking an additional radio receiver to a radio push-button
• Copying the linked connections of a radio push-button
EASY Tool
For configuring (the radio remote control) using another CONNECT
configuration tool (e.g. the “Merten CONNECT radio configuration
tool” computer software).
ADVANCED
Here you have the following options:
• Copying the CONNECT functions of the radio remote control to
another Merten CONNECT radio remote control
• Changing the configuration of Merten CONNECT radio push-
buttons (switching functions, button definition)
• Removing radio receivers from the internal device list
• Resetting the remote control to factory settings (for CONNECT
radio system only)
• Using the remote control as an infrared remote for Merten
devices with IR receivers
