After you exit the configuration area, the display shows RF EMPTY
until Easy Connect is used to configure a memory area and then link
a numeric key with a radio receiver.
Merten supplies devices with an
infrared (IR) interface, which
allows these components to be
operated by remote control (e.g.
blinds). You can also use this
remote control to do this, so you
no longer need an additional IR
remote control for these Merten
devices.
Switching over to operation of Merten devices
with IR receiver
1 Switch to configuration mode.
2 Activate ADVANCED?.
3 Activate USE AS IR? .
– The display shows SURE?.
4 Confirm/activate with [OK].
– The display shows USE AS IR?.
5 Exit the setup mode.

It is no longer possible to operate devices from the Merten
CONNECT radio system.
The key assignments and corresponding functions are defined
differently for each device and can be found in the operating
instructions for each device.

Operation of Merten devices with an IR receiver is no longer
possible.
