Faults when operating devices from the CONNECT radio
system.
•Fault
Possible cause/solution
The radio push-button/receiver cannot be programmed in (using
the “learning” procedure).
Check that there is a battery in the device.
Make sure that the device has not been programmed in already.
The display always shows ERROR when the button is pressed.
Check that the radio receiver is plugged in.
Check whether manual operation of the radio receivers works.
Check that the radio receiver was not accidentally deleted on
the remote control.
You have problems when operating scenes.
The settings of the receivers may need to be re-entered.
Faults when operating IR devices

Possible cause/solution
The device you want to operate does not respond at all when a
button is pressed.
Aim the remote control at the device and make sure that there
are no obstacles between the remote control and the device.
Make sure that the function you want to execute is available on
the device.
Check whether the battery status indicator is flashing on
the display (low battery). If so, insert new batteries.
The device you want to operate does not respond correctly when
a button is pressed.
The wrong code may have been programmed for the device
during setup. Try to set up the remote control again.
Check whether the battery status indicator is flashing on
the display (low battery). If so, insert new batteries.
The teletext buttons do not work.
Make sure that your television is equipped with teletext.
The display shows “MEM FULL” when you add an additional
function.
You cannot add any more functions for the selected device, or
the remote control memory is full. Restore all original functions
on your remote control in order to clear space in the memory.
For more information, see the section “Options” – “Restoring
original remote control functions”. All user settings are then
deleted.
