Windshield Washer
Cruise
Control
Press the button on the end of the lever to spray washer
fluid
on the windshield. The spray will continue until
you release the button. The wipers will run a few times
if you have the intermittent wiper feature.
If you have
the
MIST feature, when you press the washer button,
washer fluid will spray your windshield and you will
need to manually turn on your wipers to clear the
windshield. See “Windshield Washer Fluid” in
the Index.
I A CAUTION:
In freezing weather, don’t use your washer until
the windshield is warmed. Otherwise the washer
fluid
can form ice on the windshield, blocking
your vision.
With cruise control, you can
maintain a speed of about
25 mph (40 km/h) or more
without keeping your foot
on the accelerator. This can
:
really help on long trips.
Cruise control does not
work at speeds below about
25 mph (40 km/h).
When you apply your brakes, or push the clutch pedal,
if
you have a manual transaxle, the cruise control
shuts
off.
