Importing Songs from a PC to the JS-10 (eBand Song List Editor) Using eBand Song List Editor  [Import] button [Export] button [Delete] button [Write] button [Disconnect] button This button imports audio files (WAV/MP3) from the PC to the JS-10. This button converts the selected eBand song into WAV format and writes it to the PC. This button deletes the selected song. This button saves the content edited in the list area to the SD card.
Decide which song list to add the ripped songs will go. 2. 3. Insert the CD that you want to rip into your PC’s CD drive. Nl Click the List Mode button to select the song list to which you want to add the song. Make settings by clicking “Conserve Card Memory” in the “Options” menu. Pt 1. 1. Importing Songs from a PC to the JS-10 (eBand Song List Editor) Editing Song Information You can edit song information (song information, artist name, and album title) for songs saved on the JS-10. Convenient Functions Writing Songs to a USB Flash Drive (Export) Changing the Patch When the Song is Switched (PATCH SYNC) You can export eBand songs saved on an SD card to a USB flash drive. 1. 2. 3. If a patch number is set for a song in advance, you can call up that patch number automatically when the song is switched. MEMO Connect the USB flash drive to the USB MEMORY port. The PATCH SYNC function cannot be used for songs in the USB flash drive. Select a song in the JS-10.

Viewing Free Space on the SD Card and the USB Flash Drive The SD CARD INFO (or the USB MEMORY INFO) screen appears. Nl 2. Convenient Functions Enabling Auto Off Initializing an SD Card (FORMAT) The JS-10 powers off automatically when there is no performance or operation for 30 minutes (default factory setting). You can change how long the JS-10 can remain inactive before it powers off automatically. NOTE The settings will be lost if the power is turned off while editing. Save the settings in advance to prevent this from happening. 1. On the MENU > SYSTEM screen, follow this sequence of steps: “SETTING” [ENTER] button.

Convenient Functions Using the Commercially Available SD Cards Replacing the SD Card Here’s how to replace the supplied SD card with a different SD card. NOTE In addition to the supplied SD card, you can also use commercially available SD cards. Specifications for SD cards usable with the JS-10 Never insert or remove an SD card or SDHC card while this unit is turned on. Doing so may corrupt the unit’s data or the data on the SD cards or SDHC cards. 1. 2.

Appendices COMP/LIMITER This is an effect that produces a long sustain by evening out the volume level of the input signal. You can switch it to a limiter to suppress only the sound peaks and prevent distortion. Parameter/ Range Explanation Turns the COMP/LIMITER effect on/off. TYPE COMP The effect operates as a compressor. LIMITER The effect operates as a limiter. Adjusts the range (time) over which low-level signals are boosted. Larger values will result in longer sustain.
Explanation Es ON/OFF Pt Turns the MODULATION effect on/off. Nl MOD SELECT (Modulation Select) Select the modulation type. Turns the NOISE SUPPRESSOR effect on/off. THRESHOLD Adjust this parameter as appropriate for the volume of the noise. 0–100 Parameter/ Range OFF, ON Explanation ON/OFF OFF, ON Use MOD SELECT to select the effect that you want to use. Appendices FLANGER ROTARY The flanging effect gives a twisting, jet-airplane-like character to the sound. Parameter/ Range This produces an effect like the sound of a rotary speaker. Nl DELAY TIME 1ms–1000ms (*) This determines the delay time. FEEDBACK 0–100 This sets the amount of delay sound returned to the input. A higher value will increase the number of the delay repeats. HIGH CUT (High Cut Filter) 630Hz–12.5kHz, FLAT This sets the frequency at which the high cut filter begins to take effect.
Appendices Error Messages Message Cannot Edit Song Name! Explanation The song name cannot be edited. Use eBand Song List Editor to edit the name. TYPE COMP O efeito opera como um compressor. LIMITER O efeito opera como um limitador. Ajusta o intervalo (tempo) ao longo do qual os sinais de nível baixo são amplificados.

Als u wilt opnemen terwijl een song wordt afgespeeld, drukt u eerst op de [ ] (PLAY)-knop en vervolgens op de [ ] (REC)-knop. U kunt schakelen tussen de interne effecten. 1. Selecteer IN1 of IN2. De song wordt samen met de geluidsinvoer op de INPUT 1- en INPUT 2-ingangen afgespeeld en opgenomen.

Songs op een computer importeren naar de JS-10 (eBand Song List Editor) eBand Song List Editor gebruiken  [Import]-knop Met deze knop importeert u audiobestanden (WAV/MP3) van de computer naar de JS-10. [Export]-knop Met deze knop wordt de geselecteerde eBand-song naar de WAVindeling geconverteerd en naar de computer geschreven. [Delete]-knop [Write]-knop [Disconnect]-knop Met deze knop verwijdert u de geselecteerde song. Met deze knop slaat u de in het lijstgebied bewerkte inhoud op de SD-kaart op.

De bewerkte songinformatie wordt weergegeven op de display van de JS-10. Song Name / Rhythm Name Artist (*1) De naam van de song of het ritme wordt weergegeven. De artiestennaam wordt weergegeven. [Write]-knop Met deze knop slaat u de in het lijstgebied bewerkte inhoud op de SD-kaart op.

Handige functies De Auto Off-functie inschakelen De JS-10 wordt automatisch uitgeschakeld wanneer u het apparaat gedurende 30 minuten (de standaardfabrieksinstelling) niet gebruikt of het apparaat inactief is. U kunt zelf instellen hoe lang de JS-10 inactief mag zijn voordat het apparaat automatisch wordt uitgeschakeld. OPGELET De instellingen gaan verloren als het apparaat wordt uitgeschakeld tijdens het bewerken. Sla de instellingen op voorhand op om te voorkomen dat de instellingen verloren gaan. 1.

Handige functies In de handel verkrijgbare SD-kaarten gebruiken De SD-kaart vervangen U kunt als volgt de meegeleverde SD-kaart vervangen door een andere SD-kaart. Behalve de meegeleverde SD-kaart kunt u ook in de handel verkrijgbare SD-kaarten gebruiken. Specificaties voor SD-kaarten die met de JS-10 kunnen worden gebruikt De JS-10 ondersteunt SD-kaarten die aan de volgende specificaties voldoen. OPGELET Plaats of verwijder SD-kaarten of SDHC-kaarten nooit terwijl het apparaat is ingeschakeld.
En De Handige functies Fr Es Pt Schrijfbeveiligingsschakelaar Nederlands De inhoud van de SD-kaart kan worden beveiligd met de schrijfbeveiligingsfunctie. Schuif de schrijfbeveiligingsschakelaar aan de zijkant van de SD-kaart naar de “LOCK”-stand om de kaart te beveiligen tegen schrijven. Schakel de LOCK-stand uit als u de functies van de JS-10 wilt gebruiken.
Handige functies Voetschakelaars en zwelpedalen gebruiken U kunt twee BOSS FS-5U-apparaten (apart verkrijgbaar), een BOSS FS-6 (apart verkrijgbaar) of een Roland EV-5 (apart verkrijgbaar) enzovoort aansluiten om een hele reeks functies met uw voet te bedienen. Een van beide kan worden aangesloten.

Bijlagen COMP/LIMITER Dit is een effect dat een lange sustain creëert door het volumeniveau van het invoersignaal te egaliseren. U kunt het effect omschakelen naar een limiter om geluidspieken tegen te gaan en vervorming te voorkomen. Parameter/ Bereik Hiermee schakelt u het COMP/LIMITER-effect in en uit. COMP Het effect werkt als een compressor. LIMITER Het effect werkt als een limiter. Hiermee past u het bereik (de tijd) aan waarbinnen lage signalen worden versterkt.
En De Bijlagen Fr ON/OFF OFF, ON Hiermee schakelt u het NOISE SUPPRESSOR-effect in en uit. Pas deze parameter aan volgens het volume van de ruis. Als het ruisniveau hoog is, is een hogere instelling aangewezen. Als het ruisniveau laag is, is een lagere instelling aangewezen. Wijzig deze waarde totdat het gitaargeluid op een zo natuurlijke mogelijke manier uitsterft.
Bijlagen FLANGER ROTARY Het flangereffect geeft een buigend, vliegtuigmotorachtig karakter aan het geluid. Parameter/ Bereik Dit creëert een effect dat klinkt als een draaiende luidspreker. Parameter/ Bereik Uitleg RATE RATE 0–100 (*) Uitleg 0–100 (*) Past de rotatiesnelheid aan. Dit bepaalt de snelheid van het flangereffect. DEPTH 0-100 Dit bepaalt de diepte van het flangereffect. RESONANCE UNI-V (Uni-Vibe) Dit modelleert een Uni-Vibe. Dit bepaalt de hoeveelheid resonantie (feedback).
