Eye protection is required to guard against flying fasteners and debris, which could cause severe eye injury. The employer and/or user must ensure that proper eye protection is worn.
TOOL SAFETY WARNINGS Always handle the tool with care: 1.) Never engage in horseplay; 2.) Never pull the trigger unless nose is directed toward the work; 3.) Keep others a safe distance from the tool while tool is in operation as accidental actuation may occur, possibly causing injury. The operator must not hold or carry tool with the trigger pulled as serious injury could result if the trip accidentally contacted someone or something, causing the tool to cycle.
IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR BATTERY CHARGER Do not operate battery charger if it has received a sharp blow, been dropped, or otherwise damaged in any way; take it to a qualified serviceman. Do not disassemble battery charger; take it to a qualified serviceman when service or repair is required. Incorrect reassembly may result in a risk of electric shock, death or fire. Don’t allow any liquid to get inside charger. Electric shock may result.
TOOL BATTERY NEVER charge the batteries at a voltage higher than indicated on the nameplate. Charging at a higher voltage creates fire hazard. Do not use charger if electrical cord is damaged. Do not place battery charger under driver’s seat (Fig. 2). When charging battery in vehicle, secure charger using strap supplied. (Fig. 3) Do not leave battery charger or battery in car. The battery used in this device may present a risk of fire or chemical burn if mistreated.
