If you don’t respond to the Remote Battery Low message in a timely manner, the batteries will eventually drain to the point of not having enough power to manage your stimulator. First, you'd see a message meaning that (because of its low-power condition) the Remote Control can't send stimulation changes to your implant. You will only able to turn stimulation on or off. Next, you’d see the more urgent message shown opposite. You must respond immediately! When you press D, the remote will make another check of your implant battery and may display one of the messages shown on the following page. Note: Make a habit of replacing the Remote Control
