STIMULATION.
When used as a therapy for
pain, an artificially applied, low-level,
pulsating electrical "shock" felt as a
tingling or pulsating sensation in the area
of pain and perceived enough to reduce
the awareness of pain.

Precision
system components used during a limited
time to evaluate SCS therapy. The Trial
Stimulator System consists of an External
Trial Stimulator (ETS), temporary or
permanent lead(s), lead cable(s), the
Remote Control, and a Velcro Belt.

Visual Analog Scale. Numerical scale/
graph used to chart before-and-after pain
levels included in the Pain Profile.
