NOTE: The pulse generator case is used as a de brillating electrode unless the pulse generator has been
programmed to the Distal Coil to Proximal Coil (or “Cold Can”) Shock Vector.
IMPLANTING THE PULSE GENERATOR
Implant the pulse generator by performing the following steps in the sequence provided. Some patients
may require pacing therapies immediately upon connecting the leads to the pulse generator. In such cases,
consider programming the pulse generator before or in parallel with implanting t he lead system and forming
the implantation pocket.
Step A: Check Eq uip ment
It is recommended that instrumentation for cardiac monitoring, debrillation, and lead signal measurement
should be available during the implant procedure. This includes the PRM system w ith its related accessories
