Navigate Left/Fast Reverse. 1. This button is used to navigate
the menu system and to scan backward through tracks.
Navigate Up. 2. This button is used to navigate the menu system.
Navigate Down. 3. This button is used to navigate the menu
system.
Navigate Right/Fast Forward. 4. This button is used to navigate
the menu system and to scan forward through tracks.
Enter. 5. This button is used to make selections within the menu
system or to select tracks when creating a Play List.
Play. 6. This button is used to begin playback of a disc inserted in
the 1021.
Pause. 7. This button is used to pause music playback.
Stop. 8. This button is used to stop music playback. When pressed
twice, this button will also clear any Play List programming and
reset the Track List
Volume Up. 9. This button will raise the output level of the 1021 if
the volume option is set to “Variable.”
Volume Down. 10. This button will lower the volume output level
of the 1021 if the volume option is set to “Variable.”
Options. 11. This button engages the player’s Options list.
Skip Forward. 12. This button advances playback to the next
track within the playlist.
Skip Back. 13. This button moves playback to the beginning of
the current playing track or to the beginning of the previous
track if immediately pressed a second time.
Open/Close. 14. This button opens and closes the disc drawer.
