If the 1021 will be connected directly to an amplier, the
volume control mode should be set to Variable.
Note: If the 1021 will be connected directly to an amplier,
do NOT set the volume control mode to Fixed. This will
result in maximum output and may lead to damage to your
loudspeakers. If the Volume setting is changed to Fixed,
the player will automatically set itself to the Pause playback
mode to prevent the full-scale output level from damaging
your system if the 1021 is playing.
To set the Volume mode, use the Navigate Left or Navigate
Right button to toggle the system between Fixed or Variable
modes.
FF/FR Volume Drop
It is possible to program the 1021 to attenuate the output
a specic amount when the Fast Forward and Fast Reverse
functions are activated. The level of attenuation can be
adjusted to -12 dB, -11 dB, -10 dB, -9 dB, -8 dB, -7 dB, -6 dB, -5
dB, -4 dB, -3 dB, -2 dB, -1 dB or Off (no attenuation).
To adjust the FF/FR Volume Drop, use the Navigate Left
or Navigate Right button to select the specic level of
attenuation you prefer.
Back to Prev Menu
Pressing the Enter button while Back to Prev Menu is
highlighted will take you back to the Main Setup Menu.
Back to Player
Pressing the Enter button while Back to Player is highlighted
will exit the menu system and take you back to the Track List
display.
