Bowens Quickring
The original Bowens-designed Quickring is
designed to make the assembly (and
disassembly!) of any of our softboxes easier
than ever.
The advanced design of the Quickring
allows the center ring to be released and
rotated, this relieves tension on the support
rods as the softbox is being assembled.
Now broken and bent rods and sore thumbs
can become a thing of the past.
Assembling a softbox using the Quickring
couldn’t be simpler.
First insert the rods into your softbox, then
unlock the adapter ring, insert all four
softbox rods into the Quickring, then close
to lock the adapter ring back in place and
your softbox is assembled - easy!

control specialists, Lighttools®,
to offer a bespoke range of their
patented Soft Egg Crates and
Stretch Frames designed to fit all
Lumiair softboxes.
The lightweight fabric grids are
highly portable and are able to be
folded away easily into a handy
almost pocket-sized pouch for
transport or storage.
When tight light control is needed,
the grids fit neatly into the inner
recess of a Lumiar softbox fixed
with velcro style strips along each
edge. Further control can be
achieved by using the optional
Stretch Frames which increase the
tension of the grid, meaning the
softbox can be angled further down
without fear of the fabric grid
sagging in the middle.
