A simple, time-saving innovation, the
Cocoon makes still-life and product
photography lighting easy.
The Cocoon is a plastic cove made up of four
translucent diffusion panels which simply zip
together to create an egg shaped cove.
It features three photo portholes so you can
shoot your product from overhead, at a 45°
angle, or horizontally along the seamless
curved white background.
A contoured black cloth is also supplied as
an alternative background.
Unlike perfectly even light boxes, the
carefully designed Cocoon shape eliminates
the blooming of digital highlights as well as
unsightly reflections.
The Cocoon size to image area is specifically
designed for the angle of the view and focus
needed by a 55-60mm macro lens on a
35mm camera or equivalent lens in medium
and large format cameras.
Supplied complete with handy stowage bag,
it’s the most versatile and helpful tool for
table-top photographers.
