OPERATION UTILISATION First orientate the display to the required working position and secure using locking screw (display should always be locked to prevent rotation when gauge is being used). The gauge should be placed into the appropriate measuring ring to set or check the calibration. Place the gauge into the bore to be measured, ensuring that the anvils sit squarely on the surface of the bore. Release the trigger on the reading head smoothly.
