machineisequippedwithalowmaintenancedeckandbeltsystem.Beltfrictioncan
affectthefunctionandlifeofthemachine.ForthebestresultslubricatetheTreadlesperiodicallywitha
siliconelubricant,usingthefollowinginstructions:
1.Unplugthemachinefullyfromthewalloutlet,andremovethepowercordfromthemachine.
2.ApplyaverythinlayerofsiliconelubricantontheTreadledeckbeloweachbelt.Carefullylifteach
beltandapplyafewdropsofthelubricanttheentirewidthofthebelt.

thiscouldseriouslyimpactperformance.
3.Connectthepowercordbackintothemachineandthenintothewalloutlet.
4.Staytoonesideofyourmachine.
5.Switchonyourmachineandstartthebeltsattheslowestspeed.Letthebeltsoperatefor
approximately15seconds.
6.Switchoffyourmachine.
7.TakecaretocleanupanyexcesslubricantfromtheTreadles.Wealsorecommendaperiodic
inspectionoftheTreadlesurfacesbelowthebelts.Ifthedecksappearworn,contactaTreadClimber
®
Representative(refertotheContactspageofthismanual).
Todecreasethepossibilityofslipping,besuretheTreadleareaisfreefromgreaseor
oil.Cleanoffanyexcessoilfromthemachinesurfaces.
Usethefollowingtimetableasaguidetolubricatethedecks:
Lightuser(fewerthan3hours/week):every3months
Moderateuser(3-5hours/week):every2months
Heavyuser(morethan5hours/week):everymonth
