Ifbelthesitatesorslipswhen
walkingonunititmaybecaused
byeitheraloosewalkingbeltor
aloosedrivebelt.Todetermine
thecauseperformthefollowing
test:StandbesideTreadClimber
®
tnessmachineandsetspeedto
2MPH.Stepononetreadleand
attempttostopmovement.If
onebeltstopsbutrolleratrear
andotherbeltcontinuetoturn,
walkingbelttensionshouldbe
adjusted.Ifbothbeltsstopbut
motorisstillturning,thedrive
belttensionshouldbeadjusted.
WalkingbelttensionAdjustwalkingbelttension
atthefrontoftheunitusing
theprovidedhexwrenchon
theexposedadjustmentbolts
locatedoneachsideofeach
frontroller.Besuretoadjust
bothboltsoneachrollerthe
sameamountastonotdisrupt
beltalignment.Tighten(turn
clockwise)eachadjustmentbolt
infullturnincrements.After
eachadjustment,restartunit
andchecktoseeifbeltslippage
hasbeeneliminated.Repeatif
necessary.Ifslippingfeelpersists
afterseveraladjustments,stop
andrefertodrivebeltchecklist.
Drivebelt
Unplugpowerfromunit.Wait
5minutestoensurenoresidual
powerremains.Removeplastic
coverundertreadlestoexpose“v”
beltdrivelineandmotor.Tighten
nutonthemotortensionbolt
locatedonfrontsideofmotorin
1/2turnincrementsuntildrive
beltslippageiseliminated-DO
