Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures
Personal Precautions Do not touch or walk through spilled material. Stop leak if you can do it without risk. Evacuate
personnel to safe areas. Use personal protective equipment. Refer to Section 8 Avoid contact
with skin, eyes and clothing. Ensure adequate ventilation. Remove all sources of ignition. Take
precautionary measures against static discharges.

Environmental Precautions Prevent entry into waterways, sewers, basements or confined areas. Refer to protective
measures listed in Sections 7 and 8. Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up
Methods for Containment Prevent dust cloud.
Methods for Cleaning Up With clean shovel place material into clean, dry container and cover loosely; move containers
from spill area. Take up with sand or other noncombustible absorbent material and place into
containers for later disposal. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Pick up
and transfer to properly labeled containers.

skin and eyes. Keep away from heat, sparks and open flame. No smoking. Use only in area
