8.C.3 Outdoor Reset
Outdoor reset adjusts a boiler’s setpoint based on outdoor air temperature. This is for boilers only, and is not used for
domestic water.
To navigate to the Outdoor Quick Start Screen, touch the Outdoor Icon on the Quick Start Screen.
The Outdoor Quick Start Screen allows the adjustment of the following parameters:
• Enable/Disable – Enables and disables the outdoor reset functionality.
• Maximum Outdoor Temperature – The outdoor temperature at which the unit will use the minimum water
temperature as the set point.
• Minimum Outdoor Temperature – The outdoor temperature at which the unit will use the maximum water
temperature as the set point.
• Maximum Water Temperature – The maximum boiler outlet temperature based on the Minimum Outdoor
Temperature.
• Minimum Water Temperature –
The minimum boiler outlet temperature
based on the Maximum Outdoor
Temperature.
8.C.4 Warm Weather Shut Down
Warm weather shut down allows the user to disable to heating system based on outside air temperature. It is
used for boilers only.
To navigate to the Warm Weather Quick Start Screen, touch the Warm Weather Icon on the Quick Start
Screen.
The Warm Weather Quick Start Screen allows adjustment of the following parameters:
•
Temp Min – If the unit is in warm weather shutdown mode, it will resume normal operation when the air temperature
drops to this value.
•
Temp Max – The temperature at which the
warm weather shutdown condition will occur.
•
Feature Options – This allows the
shutdown to be enabled or disabled. When
enabled, and the outside air temperature
rises to the shut down (temp max) value,
this tells the controller whether to shut down
immediately or satisfy the current call for
heat before shutting down.
