Cleaning and Maintenance Instructions
IMPORTANT: Never use ordinary steel wool or steel brushes on stainless steel. Always use stainless steel
wool or stainless steel brushes.
IMPORTANT: Do not permit salty solutions to evaporate and dry on stainless steel.
IMPORTANT: Strongly acidic or caustic cleaners may attack the steel causing a reddish film to appear.
The use of these cleaners should be avoided.
Step 1: Cleaning stainless steel
NOTE: Rubbing should be in the direction of polishing lines.
1. Remove ordinary deposits of dirt and grease with soap and water.
2. Thoroughly rinse and dry the metal after washing.
3. Use stainless steel polishing powder to remove tightly adhering deposits.
NOTE: Sometimes the appearance of rust on stainless steel leads to the belief that the stainless steel is rusting.
A steel nail or screw may cause the trouble.
4. Look for sources of rust in some iron or steel not actually a part of the stainless steel structure.
IMPORTANT: Strong alkaline or acid-based chemicals and cleaners should not be used to clean Terreon®.
If these chemicals come in contact with the Terreon® surface, wipe off the surface immediately
and flush with soapy water.
Enamel
Enameled fixtures may be cleaned with any commercial detergent, liquid or powered, as long as it contains no abrasive
materials which will scratch the surface.
Enameled pedestal panels and shower columns can be coated with a high grade automobile wax to protect their finish.
Shower Head Cleaning
If showerhead delivers an uneven spray, remove showerhead, disassemble, and remove foreign matter.
Shower Drain Cleaning
Drain can be cleaned with plumbers snake inserted through hand hole of column.
