The VDV PRO Cable Tester is a cable testing and verication device that can test all wiring requirements
throughout today’s residential and commercial environments.
- Network link LED blink for visual cable tracing
- Voice testing capability detects RJ-11 (1, 2, or 3 pair)
- Voice test also shows Normal or Reverse for pins 1 through 6
- Length measurement is shown during initial test results for convenience and time savings

The VDV Multimedia Tester makes it a snap to quickly verify wiring integrity and assure proper terminations for diverse
types of networks.
Voice – tests 3-pair USOC and 6-position RJ11/12 jacks for voice cable testing
Data – tests both shielded and unshielded cable testing to T568A/B (RJ45)

NETcat Pro Structured Wiring Troubleshooter
The NETcat® Pro2 is a digital tool for fast, accurate checking of cables, wiring and network service. Operated using a
back-lit touch screen display, the NETcat® Pro2 tests wiring continuity and proper pair allocation, measures the length
of cables, determines if network service is available and identies Power over Ethernet (PoE) cables. When used with
the NC-510 Accessory Kit, containing seven (7) expansion remote test modules, the NETcat® Pro2 can uniquely test
coax or twisted pair jacks from a central location eight (8) at a time. Using a ngertip or the built-in stylus, the screen
can be used to control and display a range of tests from fault nding to TDR length measurement. The display can be
set to English, Spanish, French or German language.
