Mixet Tub Spout Pipe Thread

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

CAUTION: DO NOT INSTALL THIS PRODUCT UNTIL YOU

READ AND UNDERSTAND ALL INSTRUCTIONS. FAILURE TO

FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT IN PERSONAL

INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE OR PRODUCT FAILURE.

1. Unthread present tub spout.

2. If not already in place, install 1/2 in. pipe nipple to extend

1/2 in. min, 3/4 in. max out from nished wall. If buying

a new nipple, do not forget to measure distance (X) from

nished wall to face of tting inside wall. Add 1/2 in. for

threads inside tting.

3. Thread new tub spout directly to the 1/2 in. nipple. For

nipples with 3/4 in. threads, unthread plastic adaptor from

tub spout. Use pipe thread tape on all threaded connections.

Align for vertical ow, tighten spout as tight as possible by

hand only. IMPORTANT: DO NOT USE WRENCH

1. Destornille la salida existente.

2. Si no hay uno presente, instale un niple de para extender mínimo 1/2 in. (12,7 mm.) y máximo

3/4 in. (19,5 mm.) desde la pared. Si compra el niple, no se olvide de medir la distancia (X) de la

pared, al principio del acople localizado dentro de la pared.

3. Enrosque la salida directamente en el niple de 1/2 in.(12,7 mm.). Por niples con 3/4 in. (19,5 mm.),

desenrosque adaptador de plástico del tubo de salida. Utilice cinta selladora en todas las cuerdas.

Alinee la salida, apretándolo lo más que pueda con la mano. IMPORTANTE: NO UTILICE LLAVE.
