9 Downloading Files from Computer to Memory Card The DigiFrame 1550 requires you to insert a memory card with photo, music or video files on it. You can store photo, movie and music files on the same card. 1. Download the files from your digital camera or memory card to your computer. If you download pictures directly from your digital camera to your computer, connect the camera to the computer via a USB port.
File names You can simply name the files Slide 1, Slide 2 etc. or use a similar format. For the file list, the DigiFrame 1550 reads the files in alphanumerical order. 12 Folders in Your Memory Cards When the memory card contains folders, automatic slideshow does not start unless the photos are outside the folders. If you have multiple folders, you have to choose a folder with the remote control and choose a picture in the folder to start the slideshow.
14 Recommended Memory Card Size The recommended size of memory cards for the DigiFrame 1550 is 2 GB and lower. 4 GB with very high resolution pictures may cause memory problems on the screen while playing slideshows. 15 Supported File Formats A. Photo: Two JPEG formats (baseline JPEG and progressive JPEG) For baseline JPEG, the maximum picture resolution is 5120 x 3840, for progressive JPEG, it is 2048 x 1536. If you want to save files from MS Power Point, use the JPEG interchange format.
