WARNING
Turn OFF machine and wait for all moving parts to come to a complete STOP. Disconnect the
spark plug wire before proceeding with any repairs, maintenance, unclogging, refueling.
Problem
Possible Cause
Solution
Engine will not start
1. No Fuel
2. Low quality/deteriorated, old
gasoline.
3. Spark plug cap is not connected
securely
4. Dirty fuel passageways
5. Low engine oil
1. Add fuel
2. Use fresh unleaded gasoline.
3. Connect spark plug cap
properly
4. Clean out passageways using a
fuel additive. Heavy deposits
may require further cleaning.
5. Add engine oil to proper level
Excessive Vibration
1. Loose, damaged or out of
balance impeller
1. Inspect impeller for damage.
Replace if necessary.
Vacuum Not Working/Loss of
Suction
1. Hose is not attached properly
2. Engine is not running at full
RPM
3. Clogged Hose
1. Connect hose properly.
2. Set throttle control to FAST if
equipped
3. Unclog hose. See Unclogging
hose section in manual. Must
turn engine OFF
Engine is locked
1. Debris is clogged against
impeller not allowing it to turn.
1. Unclog. See Unclogging hose
section in manual. Must turn
engine OFF
Engine Runs but nothing
discharges from chute
1. Discharge chute or hose is
clogged.
2. Engine is not running at full
RPM
1. Unclog hose or chute. See
Unclogging section in manual.
Must turn engine OFF
2. Set throttle control to FAST if
equipped
