Outside Air Kit – FS Pedestal Units
GoingOutTheWall
1. Making sure that all minimum clearances are met,
positionthestoveonthefloorprotection.
2. Use the two 8/32 x 3/8” thread cutting screws and
attachtheoutsideairadaptortothepedestalasshown.
3. Attachyouroutsideairpipe(3”IDflex
pipeorequivalent
‐purchasedseparatelyfromretailer)totheadaptorina
securemannerasprovidedbythekitmanufacturer.
4. Follow remainder of outside air kit manufacturer’s
instructions.
GoingThroughTheFloor
1. Making sure that all minimum clearances are met, position the stove onthefloorprotection.Draw
an
outlinearoundthepedestalonthefloorprotector.Removethestove.
2. In the center of the outline of the pedestal foot print, cut a 4 ½” diameter hole through the floor
protectorandfloor.Makefour1½”cutsinoneendyouroutsideairpipe(4”ID
flexpipeorequivalent‐
purchasedseparatelyfromretailer)andfoldouttomakeflaps.Insertthetubethroughthehole,coverit
withascreen,andsecureittothefloorprotector.
3. Placethestovebackonthefloorprotector.Ifthestoveis tobefastenedtothefloor,
uselagboltslong
enoughtopenetratewellintothefloor.Usethemountingholesprovidedinsidethepedestal.
4. Installthepedestalcoverbyaligningthescrewholes inthepedestalwiththeholesinthecover.
