Before Starting READ THE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS =:OUiPMENT THIS ENGINE POWERS OF THE FUE NOTE: Engine is shipped WITHOUT oil. This engine will operale satisfactorily on any gasoline intended for automogve use. A minimum of 77 octane is recommended. DO NOT MIX OIL WITH GASOLINE. 4-CYCLE OIL RECOMMENDATIONS Change and Add Oil According to Chart below. LEVEL We recommend the use of a high quality detergent oil classified "For Service SE, SF, SG," such as Briggs & Stratton _. part no. 100005.

A warm engine requires less choking than a cold engine, De-clutch all possible external loads.
Starting &Stopping REWIND STARTER Grasp slarler grip as illustrated and pull slowly until resistance is lelt. Then pull cord rapidly to overcome compression, prevent kickback and start engine, Repeat if necessary wilh choke opened slightly. When engine starls, open choke gradually.
