Chapter 6 Creating a BrightWall
Interactive
Use this tab to configure how players use UDP to synchronize BrightWall playback. These options pertain to advanced
network configurations: For most deployments, specifying a unique Domain for each BrightWall presentation on the local
network should be sufficient.
UDP Destination Address: Select Specific IP address if you want UDP packets to be sent to a certain address.
Setting this field to “255.255.255.255” is equivalent to selecting the All devices on the local subnet option.
UDP Destination Port: Specify the destination port for all players in the video wall.
UDP Receiver Port: Specify the receiver port for all players in the video wall.
Domain: Modify the domain number. This number must be between 0 and 127 and needs to be unique for each
video wall on the network. This will ensure that multiple video walls can be installed on the same local network
without synchronization messages interfering with each other.
Audio
Audio Output: Enables or disables the Analog, HDMI, and SPDIF audio outputs for all players in the video wall.
o Pass through: Supplies the un-decoded audio signal through the HDMI connector. Use this option if the zone
audio (for example, AC3 Dolby Digital) is being decoded on an external device.
o Stereo: Supplies the audio as a stereo signal.
Audio Mixing: Enables the stereo, left-only, or right-only audio signal.
Completing a BrightWall Presentation
Before you can publish a BrightWall presentation, you will need to save it by navigating to File > Save or Save As. You
can also export a BrightWall presentation for use on another computer by navigating to File > Export.
When you’re ready to publish to your video wall, navigate to the Publish tab and click the Video Walls option.
