Working with your home's plumbing system can be unsafe and difficult to do correctly without the proper training. Also, your system will need to be connected to piping in a relatively cramped space (behind and underneath your sink) and it can be especially difficult to adequately tighten plumbing connections in that small space without the know-how and specific tools. Proper installation is the responsibility of the installer. Product failure due to improper installation is not covered under the warranty.
