Declaration of Conformity
The BRITA FlowMeter complies with the regulations of the CE directives.
The declarations of conformity required for this can be requested from the BRITA branch
responsible (see back).
2 General Information
2.1 Function and Application
The BRITA FlowMeter calculates the residual capacity of your fi lter system. After inputting
the relevant fi lter capacity and by recording the volumetric fl ow, the BRITA FlowMeter will
calculate the residual capacity of your fi lter system. If the fi lter capacity is exhausted, the
capacity is displayed as negative and fl ashes. Parallel to this is a timer that displays the
recommended replacement of the fi lter cartridge by fl ashing the residual capacity after
max. 12 months. This ensures that the fi lter cartridge is changed on time.
The food quality provided by the BRITA FlowMeter has been inspected and confi rmed by
independent institutes.
2.2 Guarantee Provisions
The BRITA FlowMeter is subject to a statutory guarantee of 2 years. A guarantee claim
may be asserted only if all instructions in this handbook are observed and followed.

opened. If this provision is not observed, all guarantee claims shall become void.
2.3 Storage/Transport
Adhere to the ambient conditions in the Technical Data (Chapter 11) for storage and
transport.
The Manual should be seen as part of this product and kept for the whole service life of
the BRITA FlowMeter and passed on to subsequent owners.
2.4 Recycling/Disposal
The packaging material of this product is suitable for recycling and can be used again.
Please dispose of all materials in accordance with your local regulations.
The battery and the BRITA FlowMeter must not be burnt and must not be disposed of in
domestic waste; please hand in the batteries and the appliance to the collecting points
designed for this purpose in line with the local regulations.
