Lap-Shoulder Belt Installation
Before You Begin:
9 Remove the infant carrier before
installing the base.
9 Ensure that the LATCH connectors
are in the storage slots in the base.
9 Check that your vehicle seat belt
is compatible with infant carrier
use. See pages 11 – 15 for more
information.
1 Position the base in the desired
vehicle seating position.
2 Press down on the lock off
plate, then lift the tabs and
lock-off plate to open the
lock-off.
3 Pull the vehicle belt out and
route the lap part under both
belt guides.
4 Verify that the vehicle belt is
not twisted and then buckle.
