Buckle Removal
1 Fully recline the child restraint.
2 Locate two metal buckle strap
retainers on bottom of the seat.
3 Pull each retainer away from
child restraint to loosen.
4 Turn each retainer so that the
short side will go through the slot in the seat shell (fig. A) .
5 Push the retainer through slots in the shell and cover to the front
of the seat
Rethreading the Buckle
1 Locate the buckle slots.
2 Turn each buckle retainer so that the short side will go through
the slot in the cover and seat shell (fig. A) .
3 Push each buckle retainer through the slots.
4 Make sure the plastic strips are kept on the upper surface of the
shell to keep the straps from falling through the slots.
5 Pull buckle away from seat until tight, then verify that the strap
is not twisted and the release button is facing outward.
