Conﬁguring Quota Mode

To conﬁgure each camera with allocated quota for

the storage of recorded ﬁles and captured pictures.

Enter the Storage Mode interface:

Menu > HDD > Advanced.

1. Set Mode to Quota.

NOTE

Reboot the DVR to enable changes.

2. After the reboot, return to this screen and select a

camera.

3. Enter the storage capacity.

Settings can be copied to other cameras if

needed by clicking Copy. Select the camera to

apply the settings to and click OK.

You can also click the checkbox of Analog to

select all cameras.

4. Click Apply

If the quota capacity is set to 0, then all

cameras will use the total capacity of HDD for

record.

HDD MANAGEMENT

Checking HDD Status

To check the status on the installed HDDs, enter

the HDD Information interface:

Menu > HDD > General.

NOTE

If the status of HDD is Normal or

Sleeping, it works normally. If the status

is Uninitialized or Abnormal, please initialize the

HDD before use. And if the HDD initialization is

failed, please replace it with a new one.

Checking HDD Status in System Information

Interface:

1. Enter the System Information Interface:

Menu > Maintenance > System Info.

2. Click the HDD tab to view the status of each

HDD displayed on the list.
