NETWORK SETTING

Telnet Settings

Telnet function provides an easy way to get access to the

DVR. You can see the advanced information about the

device by inputting command; as well the conﬁguration can

also be realized through telnet connection.

Enter the Advanced settings interface: Conﬁguration >

Remote Conﬁguration > Network Settings > Advanced.

1. Check Enable Telnet.

2. Click Save.

3. Open the Command Prompt window on the PC, and

input “telnet

IP Address”

to connect with the DVR.

For example, If the IP address of the DVR is 192.0.0.64,

you can input “telnet 192.0.0.64” and then press Enter to

connect to the DVR.

The telnet function turns invalid after the device shutting

down or rebooting, you have to enable it again if required.

NOTE

Checking Network Trafﬁc

You can check the network trafﬁc to obtain real-time

information of DVR such as linking status, MTU, sending/

receiving rate, etc..

Access the Network Trafﬁc interface:

Menu > Maintenance > Net Detect.

You can view the sending rate and receiving rate

information on the interface. The trafﬁc data is

refreshed every 1 second.
