8.4.4 Show VCP Commands
The VCP Commands window can be used to see the macro commands that are
executed when different user operations are performed. The window is also
helpful in learning the different macro commands.
This section contains information on the following topics:
• To show VCP commands
• To run a command
• To lookup commands using apropos
To show VCP commands
• Select Show VCP Commands from the Tools menu.
To run a command
• Enter the name of the command (e.g. gui:new_playlist) in the combo box,
and then click the Execute button to run the command.
To lookup commands using apropos
The VCP Commands window has a lookup function named apropos that is helpful
when searching for information about a command.
1. Open the VCP commands window
2. Enter e.g. apropos run_element and press Enter
