Letter of Authorization
We, Broadcom Corporation, hereby authorize Belkin to use Broadcom’s 54g Mini PCI Card and
its FCC approval documentation and test reports (FCC ID: QDS-BRCM1005 refers), in the
following Belkin products:
Belkin 54G Wireless Network Access Point: P/N: F5D7130
Belkin 54G Wireless Cable/DSL Gateway Router: P/N: F5D7230-4
This authorization is subject to Belkin following the FCC conditions outlined below:
a) BCM94306MP must be mounted in a standard Mini-PCI adapter bracket parallel to the
host PCB and such that the component side of the WLAN card is non-adjacent to the printed
circuit board.
b) a label must be included on the F5D7130 and F5D7230-4, saying: “This product contains
an approved radio module, model Broadcom BCM94306MP – FCC ID: QDS-BRCM1005”. This
label should also include the FCC logo and the words “Tested To Comply With FCC Standards”
and “For Home and Office Use”
